As an educator, I'm thankful Campbell County has made the decision to allow students to return to school in person. We are fortunate at RES to have the staff and resources needed to accommodate our 4th graders!

With that being said, we are still living in unprecedented times that can change our circumstances at a moment's notice.

Please have a conversation with your child about social distancing norms in our school and classroom. This "new normal" will look like: 

​

• Desks, students, and teachers must remain 6 feet apart. 

• Continuous hand washing (with soap).

• Masks (CCPS employees must have masks on)

• Lunch delivered to the classroom. 

• Split classes (Mrs. Elliott and __________ will switch classes mid-day).

We know that these "new norms" can be overwhelming, frustrating, and difficult for students (and adults) to follow, but in order to ensure the safety of everyone in our building it is important that we meet these expectations.
